Dr. Yacobucci is an expert in the
field of orthopedic surgery and sports medicine. He has been
practicing since 1982, when he earned his medical degree, graduating
Summa Cum Laude, at State University of New York (SUNY) in Buffalo.
He received his Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy of SUNY as
well, graduating with a Dean’s Commendation for Academic Excellence.
Dr. Yacobucci performed his internship in general surgery at
Millard Fillmore Hospital in Buffalo and his residency in orthopedic
surgery at SUNY. He took a fellowship in sports medicine at
the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia.
Dr. Yacobucci
is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon with specialty
training in sports medicine. He has additional training and
experience
in surgery to restore damaged or deficient cartilage in
the knee. |

He has served as team physician, consulting orthopedic surgeon,
and clinical instructor for hospitals and medical centers,
and professional, college and high school sports teams. Dr.
Yacobucci has published articles in orthopedic and sports
medicine journals, presented on numerous topics, and participated
in clinical research.
He is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha
Medical Honor Society, the American Academy of Orthopaedic
Surgeons, the American Orthopedic Society of Sports Medicine,
Arthroscopy Association of North America, and the International
Cartilage Repair Society. He is originally from Buffalo,
in upstate New York.
