Dr. Wilson graduated from Tufts
University and Cornell University Medical College. After an
internship and a year of surgery, he completed his orthopedic
surgery residency at The Hospital for Special Surgery/Cornell
Medical Center in New York City. A fellowship in Hand Surgery
preceded two years of military service where he served as Chief
of Hand Surgery at the Philadelphia Naval Hospital.
Dr. Wilson
moved to Arizona in 1972 after discharge from the Navy,
joining Dr. John Ricker in practice. He also assumed the position
of
Chief of the Hand Surgery Service at Maricopa County Hospital
where he has been involved in teaching the orthopedic and
plastic surgery residents. He also served as the Director of
the Phoenix
Integrated Hand Fellowship Program. Dr. Wilson has written
many scientific medical articles and is particularly interested
in
correcting arthritic deformities and injuries to the wrist
and hand joints. |
